Hi {contact.email_greeting},
The 2026 Regular Legislative Session is in full swing. Our lobbyists, Lucia Valentine and Kasey Russell, have already hit the ground running, following more than 60 bills related to environmental issues like flood resiliency and data center development in just the second week. They shared lots of updates in this week’s edition of the GREEN Newsletter.
For the first time in WVEC’s history, we have published a Policy Briefing Book as a lobbying companion for anyone interested in learning more about and taking action on key environmental issues. We hope that state leaders and constituents alike will use this book as a critical toolkit to better understand current environmental issues that affect all of us. If you like this work, consider dropping us a few bucks to cover the printing costs of distributing these valuable resources for legislators and the public alike. You can donate online here.
WVEC’s Environmental Day (E-Day) is right around the corner. Register to join us at the State Capitol for a day of environmental advocacy and education. This year’s event is one you won’t want to miss!
