Come out for the WV Environmental Council Annual Awards Dinner and have a great time while you support environmental lobbying!  The dinner will be held Thursday, March 10 at the Charleston Woman’s Club from 6:00 – 10:00 p.m.

Admission is $20.00 per person, $35.00 per couple, and $15 for students.

The catered dinner will include regular and gluten-free vegetarian lasagna, pork loin, salad, vegetables, bread, and dessert.  Beer and wine will be sold.

Awards will be presented to the following deserving individuals and group:

Mother Jones Award – Cindy Ellis

Linda Schnautz Environmental Courage Award – William V. DePaulo

Laura Forman Grassroots Activist of the Year Award – Cathy Kunkel

Chuck Chambers Public Service Award – Fayette County Commission:  Matthew D. Wender, John H. Lopez, and Denise A. Scalph

Youth Activism Award – Ciera Pennington

Special Volunteer Award – Greg Carroll

Music after the awards ceremony will be performed by Mark Bates, Ammed Solomon, and Ryan Kennedy.

The Awards Dinner will also feature a silent auction and t-shirt sales.

Please consider coming to Charleston early and visiting your delegates and senators in the Capital to lobby for our legislation or against the multitude of bad legislation.
