You’re invited to Environmental Day (E-Day) at the WV Capitol on Tuesday, February 13! E-Day is a chance to see the legislature at work, visit and tour the Capitol, meet environmental groups and advocate for WVEC’s legislative priorities. If your nonprofit is interested in having a table at E-Day or you would like to attend, please register here. Participation is free! Last year, student groups played a vital role in E-day. Including student groups brings diverse perspectives and energy to the cause. By encouraging students to engage in E-Day, we aim to create a platform where they can learn about and contribute to environmental initiatives. If you know of any student groups, please contact us at wvecevents@gmail.com so we can invite them. WVEC and partners will host an Advocacy 101 webinar on January 16 to prepare participants for E-Day. This webinar will teach you how to talk policy with your legislators on issues important to you. Register for the webinar here. Thank you, and we look forward to seeing you at the Capitol on February 13. Register for E-Day today! Best, |
