The 2023 Environmental Day (E-Day) at the Capitol is fast approaching! Please join environmental groups from across the state for this annual advocacy day on Tuesday, February 28, from 9 am – 2 pm. We are looking forward to seeing everyone face-to-face this year!
If your group is interested in having a table at E-Day or you would like to attend, please register here. We have limited tables available and they are filling up fast! E-Day is an excellent opportunity for WV environmental groups to network and feature their work, meet with legislators, and help promote WVEC’s legislative priorities. Participation is free.
New this year!! We’re excited to announce that we’re encouraging WV college students to participate in E-Day so you can share information and ideas about ways they can get involved with your organization. If you have contact with any student group, please let us know, and we’ll invite them.
E-Day will include a rally with environmental activists and legislators to update you on critical pieces of legislation. Help us lobby to protect our state’s environment on our annual day of action! Our lobby team will be on hand to help you find your way around the Capitol.
