Urgent!!! Please Call Senate Judiciary Members Now!

Senate Judiciary could take up two important bills this afternoon at 3PM.

1)  The Tier 2.5 bill.  The message to Senate Judiciary members:  Restore our highest quality streams.  Restore the stream list to 309.  Yesterday the number was reduced to 108 by the Senate Natural Resources Committee.  For more on that vote, see today's article in the Charleston Gazettehttp://www.wvgazette.com/News/200802200689 (note:  there's a typo in the Gazette headline.  It should read 309, not 39).

2) The mega-landfill bill.  Yes, it's back again this year.  Please call Senate Judiciary Chair Jeff Kessler and ask him not to take up SB 770 (304-357-7880).  Tell him we don't want to make WV "Open For Garbage."  This awful bill would make it cheaper to dump trash in our landfills and would take money away from recycling programs across the state.
