Cranberry Backcountry Road
Petition
From julian martin, Outreach Chair West Virginia Highlands Conservancy
www.wvhighlands.org
Friends,
Sorry to send this out as a "form letter," but it was the most efficient way to reach all of you who have e-mailed me concerning the recent flap over the opening of the Cranberry Backcountry Road the last two Sundays in October. With the help of Zach Pittman, who runs the wvangler.com website, we have created an online petition to the Forest Service to encourage them not to open this road in the future and to keep the gates closed on roads in backcountry areas. Please take a minute to sign the petition by clicking on the link below or copying and pasting it into your web browser. After you sign the petition you will get a confirmation e-mail from PetitionsOnline.com which contains a message you can copy and paste to help encourage others to sign the petition as well.
