Black Policy Day at the State Capitol, March 10: The Black Voter Impact Initiative and friends invite you to Black Policy Day at the State Capitol! Black Policy Day provides a platform for historically oppressed and ignored Black individuals to have their voices heard. All are welcomed to the Capitol to engage with their state leaders and discuss the policies that most impact Black and minority communities.

You can tell them what else you’d like to see prioritized in the Black Policy Agenda by visiting bit.ly/Blackpolicysurvey.

The West Virginia Black Policy Agenda is community-rooted and community-driven — a roadmap to a thriving West Virginia where every person can live a happy, healthy life in safe and flourishing communities. It is also a living document that we are continually refining and adding policies based on input from BIPOC+ West Virginians.
