2025 was full of lots of changes in office, including the departure of our communications coordinator. Jillian Welsh managed communications for WVEC for nearly three years and two legislative sessions. She crafted the GREEN Newsletter every week with clarity and creativity. Needless to say, I have big shoes to fill!
Hi! I’m Anna Saab. As the new communications coordinator, I’m enjoying the challenge of juggling social media, a weekly newsletter, action alerts, and more. In the past, I’ve helped organize housing justice in Morgantown, developed an interactive e-Book for the Smithsonian Science Education Center, and managed communications for the WVU College of Law’s Innocence Project law clinic.
Environmental justice is important to me as a lifelong West Virginian. I believe in the power of building a cleaner, more sustainable future for ALL—including wheelchair users like me—for generations to come.
