WVEC recently received a forwarded copy of the following email about a new MTR song, Memory of a Mountain, which was written to help draw attention to the devastation of mountaintop removal. It’s well worth a listen.
My name is Trina Emig. I play in a Bluegrass band, Ma Crow and the Lady Slippers, in Cincinnati, OH and our fiddle player wrote this beautiful song about mountaintop removal. We recently produced a music video to go along with the song. Below is a link to this video. If you would like, please feel free to use this video in any way that would help to call attention to this issue.
