What we would do without our partners at the Ohio Valley Environmental Coalition (OVEC)?
OVEC formed in 1987 to stop a toxic waste dump/incinerator proposed for a low-income community near Huntington, WV – the first of many victories to come.
OVEC is one of the state’s environmental powerhouses – helping to protect our air and water through activism, organizing, and campaigning. Always forward looking, OVEC leads by example. If necessary, OVEC takes the legal route to hold polluters accountable in the courts when our laws are not adequate or properly enforced.
Please support OVEC with your donation! Follow OVEC on Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook.
