Join us for E-Day 2024 this Tuesday!

Join us for Environmental Day (E-Day) at the WV State Capitol this Tuesday, Feb. 13, from 9 am – 2 pm! Register here.

E-Day is a chance to see the legislature at work, tour the Capitol, meet environmental groups and advocate for our legislative priorities.

Participation is free. See highlights and coverage from last year’s E-Day here.

In addition to exhibits from environmental groups, E-Day will include a rally with advocates and legislators to discuss critical environmental issues and promote legislation.

Please check WVEC’s E-Day Resources and Logistics page for information about parking, shuttles, entering the capitol, directions to the capitol, and other logistics. You can also check The Citizen’s Guide to the Legislature for more detailed logistical information.

WVEC and partners hosted two webinars to help prepare you for E-Day:

E-Day Advocacy: Bills and Talking Points Webinar: WVEC lobbyists discussed three bills we’re lobbying for and three we’re lobbying against, while sharing tips for meeting with lawmakers. Watch the webinar here!

The Advocacy 101: Make a Difference for West Virginia Webinar: We discussed how the WV legislature works, how a bill is made, and some tips for talking with legislators. Watch the recording here!

Please join us to make a difference! Register for E-Day today!
