We have a new Governor and cabinet in West Virginia. New legislators are sworn in, the Senate President and Speaker of the House have been chosen, and the legislative session starts on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. West Virginia Rivers Coalition will be watching every day — and we’ll keep you informed about policies that impact clean water and our public lands.

Join us and their special guest, Dr. Sam Workman, WVU Professor of Political Science and Director of the Institute of Policy Research and Public Affairs, to learn about what to expect at the 2025 legislature.

During the 2025 Legislative Preview, Dr. Workman will discuss:

• The reorganization of the House of Delegates and the Senate
• What may be coming in this session
