February 16: Rural Rally for Safe Water | WV State Capitol Building at 9 a.m.

  • Halfway through the legislative session, state lawmakers still have not introduced the Coalfield Clean Water Act. From Below: Rising Together for Coalfield Justice is encouraging impacted residents to bring water samples to the Capitol for state lawmakers and media alike to see.   • Have you ever wanted to learn more about agriculture and food access in West Virginia? Or maybe you have opinions and ideas to voice to state leaders? Local Food & Farms Day is the place for you! Read more about it HERE.

February 17: Canvassing Lunch & Learn with WVEF | Remote at 12 p.m. 

  • Are you looking for a way to get involved in the fight for energy freedom? Canvassing is an easy and fun way to get involved while connecting with folks in your community. West Virginians For Energy Freedom is partnering with West Virginia Citizen Action Group and WV Sierra Club to host a virtual training session on canvassing. February 17: Exploring Data Centers with the U.S. EPA | Zoom at 2 p.m. EST

February 23: The Climate Chorus | The Empty Glass @ 6 p.m.

  • Unwind after E-Day with a benefit concert at The Empty Glass. Live music, good company, and great drinks are an E-Day tradition. No cover, but donations (and friends!) are encouraged. Learn more HERE.

February 24: Black Policy Day | WV State Capitol Building at 9 a.m.

  • We’ll see you at the Capitol for the fifth annual Black Policy Day! In half a decade, Black Policy Day has become a great opportunity to connect with important educators, community organizations, and policymakers from all over the state. Join students and families for a day of social justice advocacy.
