- Come to the Capitol to celebrate the stories and places that make West Virginia so special. Enjoy a showcase of tourist destinations and heritage sites from around the state.
January 29: Advocacy 101: How to Speak Up for Your Land, Water, and Community
- Location: Zoom at 7 p.m. EST
- Join West Virginia Rivers Coalition for an advocacy training session. Policy Specialist Maria Russo and Community Engagement Manager Carrie Decker will share the basics of the West Virginia Legislature, including how to meet with legislators and share your story in a way that moves policy forward. February 17: Local Food & Farms Day
- Have you ever wanted to learn more about agriculture and food access in West Virginia? Or maybe you have opinions and ideas to voice to state leaders? Local Food & Farms Day is the place for you! Join the West Virginia Food & Farms Coalition for a day of food access advocacy.
February 23: Environmental Day (E-Day)
- Location: State Capitol Building from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Join the West Virginia Environmental Council (WVEC) and other organizations for a fun day of environmental advocacy and education. Organizations from all over the state will be tabling with information about their work and how you can get involved. Register for E-Day here.
