Welcome to our last newsletter of the 2025 Legislative Session. With several bills still moving, stay tuned for any final action alerts next week, and check out the actions you can take right now in our Weekly Round-Up.

As the session concludes at midnight on April 12, we’re grateful for everything you’ve done this session—calling and emailing lawmakers, showing up for E-Day, and financially backing our lobby team.

Stay tuned for our end-of-session recap in a couple of weeks.

Meet the impressive Concord University students in WVEC’s new Student Intern Program in this issue! We’re excited to work alongside these passionate future leaders as they explore environmental advocacy and the legislative process.

Donations from you and our member groups made this year’s lobby team possible. As the session wraps up, we begin monitoring interims and developing our 2026 legislative priorities. Please save the date for our Annual Meeting, September 20, 2025, at Cedar Lake in Ripley!

Thank you for being part of this movement. Every voice matters. Please consider donating to support our lobby team or updating your membership today!
