The 2023 Legislative session is over, and what an exciting and dramatic ride it was! Over the past 60 days, we faced intense moments and challenges, but with your support, we pushed positive bills and defeated harmful ones. In this edition, our lobby team, Lucia Valentine, Maria Russo, and Jillian Welsh, provide a final update on the bills we followed. Thank you to our members for calling and emailing lawmakers on so many essential pieces of legislation. Your support and dedication were instrumental in our success! We also thank Don Alexander, our web guy, who made sure this newsletter went out each Friday and turned on a dime to get action alerts out with little to no notice. We are lucky to have him on our team.
