GREEN Goes Green

Speaking of change, during the month of December I re-designed the WVEC website to facilitate new features and interactivity, using WordPress as a content management system.

GREEN Legislative Updates have also moved to a new format that should help simplify the process for publishing an update, especially compared to previous updates that were designed to be printed and mailed.

The new format provides a more detailed index page (with thumbnails and excerpts).  It also supports commenting and allows a wider variety of media to be included in articles (i.e, pictures, videos, pdfs, etc). The article list for each week’s update also appears in the right-hand sidebar when viewing a full article.  You can go back to the page showing excerpts by clicking the issue title in the sidebar, in this case, ‘GREEN Vol. 25 Issue 1‘

Authors can if they wish, post and/or update (or correct) their own articles, as well as interact with readers in the comment sections.
