From our Partners at WV Citizen Action Group
What happens when industries put profit over people?
Join WV Citizen Action and partners for a powerful documentary screening in honor of Black History Month, highlighting the fight for environmental justice in one of America’s most toxic neighborhoods—the Ironbound district of Newark, NJ. RSVP here!
The Sacrifice Zone follows Maria Lopez-Nuñez and her fight against pollution, injustice, and the industries that treat communities of color as dumping grounds. After the screening, we will hold an open forum discussion on Environmental & Racial Justice and reflections from the film.
