Important Weather Related Schedule Changes

WV Environmental Council Fall Conference
October 2-4, 2015

Nature is in control, so we’ve adapted the schedule. Changes are in red below.

It’s not too late to register for the WV Environmental Council annual fall meeting / conference at Greg Carroll’s home near Hurricane in Putnam County. Email Karen.yarnell@fairmontstate.edu.

Directions: From Charleston, west on I-64, 24 miles
Take exit 34 to Hurricane, turn left, go 0.4 miles
Turn right on route 34, Teays Valley Road, go 0.1 miles
Take first right on Lynn Street, go 0.1 miles
Turn left onto Virginia Avenue, go 2 miles
Turn right onto Benedict Road, go about 4 miles
Greg’s is on the left with a big garden in front and a gravel driveway and lots of cars.

This event will have many opportunities for creative planning, strategic thinking, plus good food, relaxation and music, so please bring instruments, snacks, and beverages of your choice if you wish. Don’t forget to bring silent auction items.

Greg has several houses on the farm that are empty, so there will be plenty of space for everyone. Bring a tent / sleeping bag, air mattress, towels, pillow, etc. if you wish. If you don’t want to rough it, there are motels in Hurricane.

Registration is $20 per person and will include all food. You may pay with a credit card on the website https://wvecouncil.org/join/ or pay with cash or check at the event.
